Awareness-raising is part of every aspect of a Transition Town.  There will be plenty of cross-over between the groups but the main function of this group is to write and produce leaflets, display material, arrange talks, films, events, talking to the public and media etc.

It was decided at the first meeting that in keeping with TTB aims and objectives (ie lowering carbon footprint and keeping local) to use sustainable and local resources of materials and skills for all aspects of our Awareness-raising and Education activities.
The A&E group are currently planning a quiz, to raise awareness on all aspects of being a town in transition.
